EECIS email has been discontinued. Central UDEL campus supports two alternative email services (https://www.udel.edu/mail/).
Existing addresses will be preserved so long as the accounts remain active, but all mail must be forwarded elsewhere for reading. To have your mail forwarded, please use the ECE/CIS help-request system. All mail to addresses which are not forwarded will be rejected (bounced). Forwarding will handle mail from the following domains: eecis.udel.edu, ee.udel.edu, ece.udel.edu, cis.udel.edu. Please do not advertise addresses of this form, subscribe them to mailing lists, or otherwise use them for new business.
As of October, 2013, all forwarded mail will first be filtered for spam. This is because recipient systems see all forwarded mail as coming from mail.eecis.udel.edu and will block access from our server if too much spam is forwarded. If you believe an important message has been caught by our spam filter, access can be provided to your spam folder in the standard Maildir format: use ECE/CIS help-request system to request such access.
Pre-existing mail has not been deleted: if you need access to your old mail box, please use the ECE/CIS help-request system. Your mail will be provided to you in the standard «Maildir» format.
ECE/CIS does not manage the graduate student mailing list, central campus does. More information can be found on the central services page. Any problems with any central system services can be handled with the IT Help Center Help Request Form.
To send email to a class, or other University maintained list use PoBox.
